BEYOND OUR ROOTS
ETHOS
Origin and development of the project
BoR originated during my Design Dissertation at the Centre for Alternative Technology. This project focuses on developing a Teaching Methodology rooted in Experiential Learning, Environmental Learning, and Ecofeminist principles.
The motivation to create BoR comes from wanting to spread the word about natural building and sustainable materials, focusing in earth at the heart. In the last 4 years, I have been participating in many projects, teaching from short workshops to long weekend courses, and managing volunteers abroad. I collaborate with CAT and teach the MSc and MArch students every year during the Sustainable Materials week.
